Schneider Altivar 312 Solar the solar-powered speed variator
The Altivar 312 Solar
the first solar-powered variable speed drive, offered by Schneider Electric is a solution for all pumps isolated from electrical power supply.
This product is compatible with the main photovoltaic panels and pumps on the market.
Designed for rural areas in developing countries that do not have access to electricity, the Altivar 312 Solar is suitable for stand-alone water pumping installations, but can also be adapted to isolated pumping installations in the mountains, in agriculture or on maritime platforms for example.
Available for powers from 0.18 kW to 5.5 kW, the product is available in 200V single-phase and three-phase or 400V three-phase.
Based on the Altivar 312, of which Schneider Electric has already sold several hundred thousand units, the product has proven its efficiency and flexibility for pumping applications, such as polluted environments, significant temperature differences, etc.
The product is easy to install and the size of the photovoltaic panels is reasonable. To choose the panel, Schneider Electric suggests using its ATV312 Solar Sizer configurator
